The Beginning
Rev. & Mrs. Atupra founded Sethdel School Complex in Aplaku Hills, Accra, with a vision to provide quality education rooted in Christian values.
Growing Roots
The school expanded its facilities and grew its student body, becoming a trusted institution in the Ga-South community.
Montessori Transformation
Teachers began training with the North American Montessori Center (Canada) and Advanced Montessori Center Ghana, transforming the pedagogical approach.
Zion Hill Montessori
The school rebranded to Zion Hill Montessori School and obtained Pearson Edexcel accreditation for the iPrimary curriculum.
Looking Forward
Continuing to grow and innovate, offering world-class Montessori education with international curriculum standards to families across Accra.

Rev. & Mrs. Atupra
In 2007, driven by a passion for transformative education and a deep commitment to Christian values, Rev. & Mrs. Atupra established what would become Zion Hill Montessori School. What began as Sethdel School Complex has grown into a beacon of educational excellence in the Aplaku Hills community.
Their vision of nurturing each child's unique potential through globally recognized methods and faith-based values continues to guide every aspect of the school's mission. Under their leadership, the school earned Pearson Edexcel accreditation and adopted the Montessori pedagogy, ensuring students receive an education that prepares them for both local and global success.
